Celebrate with the family at this summer’s festival with music, beer, and BBQ (with veggie options) in Whitchurch on Saturday 17th July from 12pm! This fabulous open air music festival has acres of space to spread out so bring a blanket, chairs and relax to 5 hours of amazing live music from your chair or dance your heart out!

This community event is designed to be fun, priced for all and as a celebration for everyone to come together and enjoy the return of summer, freedom, friends, fun and family!

Tickets are limited to 800 adults (£4 each) and their accompanied children (free) so act quickly, tell your friends and go to Eventbrite (click here)  to secure your place at the first, best, safest and truly family music event this summer.

Gates open at 12pm with music from the start and live music from 1pm until 5.30pm.

Event closes at 6pm.

Please note there are no parking facilities on site, please also be considerate of our neighbours if parking.

Only Guide Dogs and Assistance dogs are permitted.

The fantastic Paul Sartin will also be attending the Fresco Summer Festival in Whitchurch on the 17th July.

Paul is a member of Belshazzar’s Feast, Faustus (Preis der Deustchen Schallplattenkritik 2017) and the late BBC award-winning Bellowhead. He directs the Andover Museum Loft Singers, arranged Community Choirs Folk (Faber Music), and is a BASCA-nominated composer.

Together, Jon and Paul have worked on the traditional folk songs of Henry Lee (1837-1919) who lived at 2, Weir Cottages here in Whitchurch. They are co-founders of Whitchurch Folk Club.

Introducing our Jazz Duo - Martin and Lynda who will be performing at the Fresco Summer Festival.

Martin and Lynda met at music college in the late sixties, Martin studying clarinet and saxophone and Lynda piano. Martin continued with his music becoming a professional musician playing in many West End Shows, while Lynda pursued a career in education.

 

Since retiring, Lynda has restarted playing the piano and she and Martin have enjoyed having time to play music together.

Sit back and enjoy live musical theatre and classical singer Susie, accompanied by Robin.

Susie lives in Hurstbourne Priors with her husband Charlie and their two young children Rose and Joseph. She works as a Singing and Piano teacher and enjoys performing locally at weddings, church services,

concerts and festivals. After gaining a degree in Music she won a place on a training course for young singers with the English National Opera where she studied with the mezzo- soprano Mary King. She then went on to attend London's Central School of Speech and Drama, where she studied musical theatre techniques.

 

Some of her favourite performing jobs have been leaping across The Opera House stage with a fire torch in Wagner's Gotterdammerung

and trying her hardest to resist an apple as Eve in Tony Harrison's The Mysteries at The Actor's Church in Covent Garden.

The fantastic 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘆-𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸 - 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 will be joining us at our Fresco Summer Festival community event in Whitchurch too.

English guitarist Vincent Lindsey-Clark is well known around the world for his playing and compositions. He writes music for both students and professionals including solos, chamber music and concertos for the classical guitar.

He has received commissions from many distinguished performers. His composition ‘Fiesta Americana’ was written for the Paraguayan guitarist Berta Rojas, who’s recording of the work was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award.

Vincent is in demand as a performer, teacher, adjudicator and examiner and is a regular participant in festivals in the UK and further afield most recently in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
